Rains Lucia Stern St. Phalle & Silver, PC is very pleased to announce that attorney Seth Merrick has been elevated to the position of partner with the firm. Seth joined RLS in 2011 and was instrumental in opening our Workers’ Compensation Practice Group. In large part due to Seth’s efforts, we are now able to provide this critical service to our clients while maintaining the firm’s established standards of excellence. The RLS Workers’ Compensation Practice Group is unique because we focus on treatment and assisting clients in returning to full-duty, concurrently working with individuals and union leadership.
Seth specializes in representing California’s injured peace officers, firefighters and other first responders, as well as private and public sector union employees. Seth’s practice centers on assisting injured workers with complex cases, including those with personal injury claims and catastrophic work-related injuries.
During his tenure, Seth has distinguished himself with a remarkable number of positive results for our clients and their families. These successes include obtaining full workers’ compensation benefits in intricate situations involving post-traumatic stress disorder, cancer, heart attacks, severe spine and orthopedic injuries, as well as protecting the families of those who have passed away on the job.
