Roger Wilson is Of Counsel to Rains Lucia Stern St. Phalle & Silver, PC (“RLS”) and represents peace officers in administrative, disciplinary, critical incidents, and criminal defense matters. Prior to joining RLS, Roger assisted with labor contract negotiations, labor arbitrations and mediations, and counseled businesses on both federal and state employment law topics including: wage and hour issues, unions, job safety, health benefits, retirement, workers’ compensation insurance, workplace discrimination, and sexual harassment. For many years Roger was a prosecutor with the Tulare County and Fresno County District Attorneys’ Offices. As a prosecutor, Roger handled hundreds of felony and misdemeanor cases in both adult and juvenile courts. Roger has prosecuted and defended white collar crimes (fraud, embezzlement, money laundering, etc.), arson, gang related cases, drug cases, DUIs, domestic violence, sex crimes and consumer fraud. Roger has been recognized by several state and federal organizations for his expertise and litigation successes.
Roger graduated from California State University, Fresno (B.A.) and the University of Wisconsin in Madison (M.S.). He earned his law degree at San Joaquin College of Law. Roger was admitted to practice law in California in 1997 and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California. Roger is certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a Criminal Law Specialist.
