Principal Mike Rains, of Rains Lucia Stern St. Phalle & Silver, collaborated with PORAC President Mike Durant, Legal Administrator Ed Fishman, and Legislative Advocate Randy Perry on a letter addressing the need to strengthen police officer confidentiality provisions in the regulations interpreting recently-enacted Government Code Section 12525.5, the Racial and Identity Profiling Act (RIPA) of 2015. Mike Durant presented the letter to the RIPA Board on January 26, 2017.
