Vance Piggott is a senior associate attorney with Rains Lucia Stern St. Phalle & Silver, PC’s (“RLS”) Collective Bargaining, Legal Defense, and Litigation practice groups. He performs traditional labor relations work, represents individuals in legal defense matters, and handles litigation matters on a wide variety of issues, including disputes involving the Fair Labor Standards Act and public employee pensions. Vance also handles corporate and organizational matters for clients, including drafting and reviewing bylaws, incorporation, obtaining tax-exempt status for labor and charitable organizations, and advising clients regarding their tax and corporate status.

Prior to joining RLS, Vance worked as an attorney providing general counsel services to non-profit corporations gaining valuable experience handling transactional and litigation matters. He is happy to bring this knowledge and experience into the firm’s practice of representing peace officers, firefighters, and other public employees.

Vance graduated from UC Irvine in 2010 with a bachelor’s in economics. He received his JD in 2013 from McGeorge School of Law, where he graduated with distinction, and is licensed to practice law in both California and Nevada.
