Olivia K. Leary is a senior associate in the Rains Lucia Stern St. Phalle & Silver, PC (“RLS”) Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation Groups. She represents people who have suffered serious injury as a result of negligence, including personal injury actions, intentional torts and whistleblower actions.
Olivia earned her B.A. in political theory from the University of San Francisco, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Olivia earned her J.D. from the University of California at Davis, and was a recipient of the Dean’s Merit Scholarship. During law school she served as an extern for Judge Allison Claire of the United States Eastern District of California. Olivia’s work in Judge Claire’s chambers focused largely on constitutional claims, including many involving the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Olivia also worked on the UC Davis Business Law Journal for two years, serving as both a below line and above line editor for its annual publication. She graduated law school in the top 15% of her class and was subsequently admitted to the State Bar of California.
Olivia is a Bay Area native, born and raised in Marin County, California. She comes from a strong investigative background; both her father and grandfather are private investigators. Olivia brings this to her cases, always seeking to uncover new information to better advocate for her clients. In her free time, Olivia enjoys staying active, including going to the gym, playing tennis, traveling, and exploring the fantastic hiking trails located around the Bay Area.
