Nancy began her career as an appellate court clerk for the Honorable Joseph A. Del Sole (Presiding Judge for the Appellate Court – Superior Court of PA). Nancy’s first jury trial resulted in a twelve-minute defense verdict in her favor.
Nancy has worked both on the plaintiff and the defense side as a litigator. During her more than 30 years as a litigator, Nancy’s practice in the law has emphasized handling significant personal injury matters, complex construction defect litigation, and public entity defense. As a result, Nancy has extensive knowledge related to litigation involving public entities, including local municipalities, sanitary districts, housing authorities and school districts.
Nancy has also acted as a mediator for the Contra Costa, Solano and Alameda County Superior Courts. Her mediation training includes the Straus Institute of Dispute Resolution Program through Pepperdine University.
Nancy holds a law degree from the Western New England College School of Law as well as an undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University.
Nancy and her husband enjoy spending time with their daughter, son-in-law and two granddaughters. A sports enthusiast, Nancy follows many sports, particularly the Pittsburgh sports teams. Nancy is also an avid seamstress. She plays golf and tennis in her spare time.
