Jillian graduated cum laude from the University of Tampa, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and a minor in Law, Justice, and Advocacy. While working towards her Bachelor’s degree, she interned at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for two summers in the Organized Crime Division. There she discovered her passion for advocacy and justice and made the decision to go to law school. Jillian earned her JD from Loyola Law School in Downtown Los Angeles. All throughout her second and third year of law school, Jillian continued her tenure at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office as a certified law clerk. Her various assignments ranged from the Major Crimes Division and Sex Crimes Division, where she assisted Deputy District Attorneys in prosecuting high-profile cases, to the Preliminary Hearing Unit and the Crimes Against Peace Officers Division. Her tenure allowed her to learn from some of the finest trial attorneys in Los Angeles, shaping her into the fierce advocate she is today.
Prior to joining RLS, Jillian worked as a private criminal defense attorney, defending the rights of individuals throughout the state of California. Through this she learned the ins and outs of the criminal justice system and gained a reputation of being a zealous advocate for her clients and the person you want on your side.
Jillian is licensed to practice in California State Courts.
