Greg O’Connell is a member of the firm’s Personal Injury Group. Greg’s practice is focused on representing victims who have suffered catastrophic physical and psychological injuries due to the negligence of others. From drafting the complaint, investigations, discovery, examining experts, motions, mediation and certainly trial, Greg delivers superior results in all phases of civil litigation.
In 2005, Greg received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Los Angeles. In 2008, he received a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from Golden Gate University School of Law. Greg began his legal career as a member of the prestigious Alameda County District Attorney’s Office. During his 8 years as a prosecutor Greg litigated serious felonies from robbery, sexual assault to murder. Following his time as a prosecutor, Greg began applying his skills as a litigator and trial attorney to the field of personal injury matters. Handling various types of cases, including vehicular accidents, construction site accidents, premises liability cases, and general negligence claims. He has logged thousands of hours in the courtroom, tried more than 30 jury trials to verdict and prides himself as a tenacious advocate for victim’s rights.
Outside of the courtroom, Greg is an active member in legal organizations committed to preserving equal access to the justice system, including the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, the Alameda County Bar Association, and the Consumer Attorneys of California.
