8th Annual Representing Cops in the 21st Century Symposium
June 14, 2022 - June 15, 2022
Please note the new date. In light of the significant increase in COVID-19 cases and the limitations it would have placed on our event, we made the difficult decision to move the symposium from February to this new date in June.
8th Annual Representing Cops in the 21st Century Symposium
Please join RLS attorneys and other subject matter experts for a riveting 2-day symposium focusing on new legislation and legal standards affecting California law enforcement personnel.
This fast-paced class will explore the legal requirements for uses of force under Penal Code section 835 (AB 392), investigations of fatal shootings of unarmed civilians by the Attorney General’s office (AB 1506) and certification/decertification of peace officers (SB 2), among other subjects.
Attendees will participate in interactive scenario-based training involving real incidents and will jointly analyze these situations in concert with attorneys, police trainers and mental health crisis specialists to identify the legal issues and potential pitfalls for cops.
We recommend that you register as soon as possible. Space is limited and the class is currently near capacity.
