RLS attorney Steven A. Alvarado represents secured a dismissal in court for his client Damian Romero. Damian Romero, then an off-duty Bakersfield Police officer, was charged with battery and vandalism in a 2022 incident where a man hit Romero with a vehicle.
"I'm incredibly happy for Mr. Romero regarding the court's decision to dismiss his case today. Mr. Romero held up his end of the bargain and is grateful to have earned the opportunity to put the matter behind him and move forward with his life," Alvarado wrote in an email to The Californian on Thursday.
