Michael L. Rains will be teaching in this POST-mandated course for law enforcement managers hosted by The Academy. The course is designed for law enforcement personnel at the management level: lieutenants and above. Sergeants on promotional lists may also attend.
The three separate but inter-connected sessions will provide the new Lieutenant with information, knowledge and skills to develop strategic plans for the future, identify and resolve problems inherent to organizations, practice effective leadership, and confidently manage issues concerning labor relations, risk management, critical incidents and media relations.
